Your Power of Personal Magnetism

Your Power of Personal Magnetism:

The 7 Qualities of The World’s Most Charming People

By Dr. Yomi Garnett

A highly-developed charisma confers immense personal power on you, if only because, being more people-oriented, and more empathic than most, you will, on several different levels, better connect with people, allowing you to attract immense human goodwill anywhere you find youself.” – Yomi Garnett.

The word ‘charisma’ is classically defined as a compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in other people. Put in other words, charisma is that innate quality that makes one a likable person. Although self-apologists are inclined to deprecate the pervasive influence of other people, for good, and for bad, in the affairs of man, the incontestable fact is that our fortunes are necessarily dependent on the impression we make on others. That is why it becomes compellingly necessary for us to be likable, at least to some degree.

The classic picture of a charming person is not entirely alien to our imagination.
He is poised. He is confident. When he speaks to people, he does so in a firm and measured enunciation that is delivered in a relaxed tone, and in words that are well-chosen for effective and easy amiability.
He also projects a classy but understated appearance that has the invariable propensity to fixate everyone around him. He entrances everyone, effortlessly attracting attention to himself the way magnet attaches steel to itself.
He radiates an incomparable energy and confidence that totally enamors even the most reticent individuals that come into contact with him.

His does not, however, possess incomparable charm because of what he says, or how he looks. The true essence of the charismatic energy he projects is simply a function of his entire being.
When you are engaged in dialogue with this charming fellow, you unwittingly feel yourself effortlessly inspired by, not only his ideas, but your own ideas, which inexorably bud from his place of profound emotion and infectious passion.
What does this person have that inspires so much?
What does this person have that draws others to him?
He speaks very well.
He is socially adroit.
He projects an attractive and exciting image with effortless ease.
His mystique lies in all of these.
But, he has something else.
He has charisma.
The fascinating thing about charisma is that, although it is usually difficult to say why someone has it, we all recognize it the instant we encounter it.

I have devoted consummate attention to the study of charisma.
This is my own carefully contrived definition of it.
Charisma is the ability to positively influence others by connecting with them physically, emotionally and intellectually.
Charisma is what propels people to like you.
Charisma is what motivates people to enjoy being around you, even when they possess limited knowledge of who you are.
Contrary, however, to popular refrain, one is not necessarily born with charisma.
The composite traits of charisma are, almost invariably, acquired over the course of a lifetime.

These are the seven traits of people with remarkable charisma:

1. They Carry Themselves With Uncommon Grace And Confidence.

They send out a silent message of confidence, self assurance and personal security. They look you right in the eye during dialogue. They do not slump their shoulders, rather squaring them assertively. They do not consider themselves well-dressed unless they are also wearing a smile. On the other hand, they readily paint their world with a smile at the slightest prompting.

2. They Are Compellingly Persuasive.

They find it infinitely easy to get people to subscribe to their viewpoints because they are consummately skilled in the art of distilling seemingly complex ideas into simple messages.

3. They Are Articulate Communicators.

They have an innate ability to speak well and communicate effectively, and so are able to articulate their ideas properly for easy comprehension.

4. They Are Excellent Listeners.

Although good listening skills are rarely taught and infrequently practiced, they remain a principal key to communicating well, and making others feel special. Charismatic people possess this skill (continue reading…)

Trying To Make Chickens Fly?

Trying To Make Chickens Fly?

Just watched a video by one of my mentors, Matt Morris. It’s really funny what he illustrates in the video. You see, many people in network marketing have this problem. They try to get chickens(people on their team) to fly. What you have to realize is that chickens don’t fly, no matter how much you want them to. All they do is flap their wings and fall back to the ground. If you want to have success in this industry. You’ve got to find you some eagles. The important thing to note is that to find eagles, you have to become an eagle yourself. Don’t forget that birds of a feather flock together.

Keep working on yourself and developing yourself and you’ll attract people that are like you or better. Enjoy this video by Matt. This could be what you have needed all along to hit it big in your business.

Feel free to share this if you got value and you wanna help someone else out.

Ten Things I Learned From Harry N. Stout This Weekend

Ten Things I Learned From Harry N. Stout This Weekend

I’m so excited to share with you some success principles that will skyrocket your business profits. The whole of yesterday, I spent with some amazing people.  It was a couple of hours of training by some of the most brilliant minds in the world of Financial Services/Life Insurance. I was thrilled by the value that was put forth that the presenters at this event. I took copious notes and wish to share them with you my viewers. And why would I choose to do this? Because I care about your success and I’m quite excited about what this information can do for you and your business if you study it and apply it to your business or life.

The event I attended was put together by mentors, Alex Ruiz & Kameron Kimmel-Ruiz. Just a little bit about this wonderful couple. Kameron Kimmel is a native Texan who grew up always searching for more and asking a lot of questions. When she was in college, she was extremely bored and looking to know how to own a business where she could help many people across the world. She happened to fall into the Financial Industry when she was still in college, a little over 9 years ago and never left. She has had incredible mentors along the way which led her to build her (continue reading…)

“Santa Claus” – The Biggest Scam Ever!!!

I got PISSED off this morning when I saw a post on CNN that called the President’s surge in the polls as a “Santa Claus rally“. It’s obvious that those idiots are refusing to take off their 3D glasses and see what’s happening in the “Real World“.

I hear that Ted Turner of CNN has given billions of dollars to fight for World Peace, however his TV Station (CNN.com) is one of the worst proponents of war, ever known to man. They project the whole “Situation Room” by Wolf Blitzer, where Wolf basically talks about all the negative things happening around the world but never takes a minute to acknowledge that there are also good things happening in the world as well.

I HATE watching that show because he’s one of the greatest liars I have ever known. I don’t understand how CNN can spread propaganda like “Wild Fire” and still get away with it. I’m going on a rampage to have them shut down. Trust me, it’s going to happen someday soon!!!

Read the article that CNN released about this whole “Santa Claus” nonsense. Click here!

I usually watch Fox News to get non-biased political news. Let me make this clear, I’m neither Democrat, nor Republican. I’m an American and that’s what counts!

Stay positive!

The Quickest Way to Gain Leadership: Problem-Solving

We all have problems. Sometimes our problems overwhelm us. You have got to realize that the size of the person is more important than the size of the problem. We should remember the words of Paul Harvey who said that in times of trouble it is always helpful to remember that there have always been times like these. (continue reading…)

How to Overcome Obstacles to Self-Improvement

I read a book by John Maxwell titled Self Improvement 101(What Every Leader Needs to Know), where he shares some things about how to overcome obstacles to self-improvement.

I thought I’d share some quotes by John Maxwell from the book:

“It doesn’t matter whether your objectives are in the area of art, business, ministry, sports or relationships. The only way you can get ahead is to fail early, fail often, and fail forward.” (continue reading…)

How To Become The Kind Of Leader Others Want To Follow

How To Become The Kind Of Leader Others Want To Follow

The key to becoming an effective leader is not to focus on making other people follow, but on becoming the kind of person they want to follow. You must become someone others can trust to take them where they want to go.

As you prepare yourself to become a better leader, use the following guidelines to help you grow:

Let Go of Your Ego. The truly great leaders are not in leadership for personal gain. They lead in order to serve other people. Perhaps that’s why Lawrence D. Bell remarked “show me a man who cannot bother to do little things, and I’ll show you a man who cannot be trusted to do big things.”

Become a Good Follower First: It is rare to find an effective leader who didn’t learn to become a good follower first.

Build Positive Relationships: Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less. That means it is by nature relational. Today’s generation of leaders seem particularly aware of this because title and position mean so little to them. They know intuitively that people go along with people they get along with.

Work With Excellence: No one respects and follows mediocrity. Leaders who earn the right to lead give their all to what they do. They bring into play not only their skills and talents, but also great passion and hard work. They perform on the highest level of which they are capable.

Rely On Discipline: Leadership is often easy during the good terms. It’s when everything seems to be against you – when you’re out of energy, and you don’t want to lead – that you earn your place as a leader.

Make Adding Value Your Goal: When you look at the leaders whose names are revered long after they have finished leading, you find that they were men and women who helped people to live better lives and reach their potential.

Give Your Power Away: One of the ironies of leadership is that you become a better leader by sharing whatever power you have, not by saving it all for yourself. You’re meant to be a river not a reservoir. If you use your power to empower others, your leadership will extend far beyond your grasp.

Feel free to share this if you got value and you wanna help someone else out.

MY BIBLE WAS SIGNED BY MALCOLM X!

My Bible Was Signed By Malcolm X!

I came across a video and also read an article in Forbes Magazine entitled “Moses Signed My Bible” by Tom Post. These two inspired me to write this quick post on my blog. In the article, Tom Post said that autographed first editions are a cool way to collect rare books and that forgers think so too.

This means that original autographed first editions are more valuable many years after they were first autographed. Sometimes they sell for thousands of dollars many years after they were autographed.

I quote him here: “Several years ago, in a fit of Bibliophilia that still afflicts me, I started buying earlier versions of some favorite titles. While trawling on Ebay, I caught sight of what purported…to be a signed first edition of Robert Penn…”

The video I share below is an original video and evidently is worth much more now than it was when it was first recorded. It is quite controversial. I noticed that the video had a lot of comments on Youtube so I decided to post it on here.

Don’t let anyone kill your dreams, no matter who that person is. Keep dreaming and one day it will become reality!

Let me know what you think about the video and this post in the comments section below.
