Daily Habits of Successful People: It’s All About Routine

The most successful people in the world all have certain habits that they incorporate into their daily routines. These habits help contribute to their success and can be considered good habits to form. It could be something as simple as setting a goal to, “Do good each day,” just as the great Benjamin Franklin did.

It could also be something more elaborate such as spending most of your morning in bed like Winston Churchill. Churchill would wake up at 7:30am daily, eat breakfast, read his mail and newspaper until 11 am.

In the video below, Brian Tracy, discusses some habits that successful have developed that help them achieve a whole lot more. It’s all about their daily routine. Here are some of the habits discussed by Brian:

  1. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE PLAN THEIR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE
  2. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE SET PRIORITIES ON THEIR LIST BEFORE THEY START THE DAY
  3. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE COMPLETE THE MOST IMPORTANT TASK FIRST

If you can develop these habits of successful people and do those three things, plan your day the night before, organize your tasks in order of importance, and complete your most important task first thing during your day. You will increase your productivity overnight.

Remember what John Maxwell once said:

“You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.”

Trying To Make Chickens Fly?

Just watched a video by one of my mentors, Matt Morris. It’s really funny what he illustrates in the video. You see, many people in network marketing have this problem. They try to get chickens(people on their team) to fly. What you have to realize is that chickens don’t fly, no matter how much you want them to. All they do is flap their wings and fall back to the ground. If you want to have success in this industry. You’ve got to find you some eagles. The important thing to note is that to find eagles, you have to become an eagle yourself. Don’t forget that birds of a feather flock together.

Keep working on yourself and developing yourself and you’ll attract people that are like you or better. Enjoy this video by Matt. This could be what you have needed all along to hit it big in your business.

How To Avoid the “SCATTER BOMB” In Network Marketing

This post is for people who are in the network marketing, home based business or MLM industries. My goal is to help you achieve the highest level of success in these wonderful industries. Now, whenever you present your opportunity to a prospect and the prospect says NO, learn to ask for referrals. Ask them for the names of one or two of their colleagues who might be interested in this business. The secret to asking for referrals is to be very specific. You could ask a question like:

“Who do you know at your job who is already thinking of leaving?”

“Who is the most dynamic person among your friends at work?”

Never forget to ask for referrals. If you learn to replace every NO with just one new prospect, your warm market list will never run out. Also, have a system of following up with prospects who do not join. Remember that whenever the timing is right for someone, they will join you in business. Stay in touch with your prospects over time. If you’re kind to them, show them love and offer value to them, one day they will join you. This is why it is important to be very focused and stay consistent.

I read a few pages of the book “Your First Year in Network Marketing” by Mark Yarnell and took down some notes, which I’m going to share with you what I learned. Now, in order to build a massive MLM business, you have to be good at doing 3 way calls with an upline leader in your company. The best time for you to do a three way call is after your prospect has seen a presentation of your opportunity. It is most effective after your prospect has been exposed to the concepts of network marketing, likes what he or she has heard but still has some reservations or have some questions. This is the best time to bring in an upline associate into the mix.

The 3 way call allows a new associate or even a seasoned associate to learn by hearing how a prospect is “closed”. It also reinforces belief in the business. The connection between you, an upline and your prospect offers a more flexible scheduling and sorts out a serious prospect from a lukewarm one. Just taking the initiative to call shows a certain eagerness for the business.

When getting started in business, creating a strong warm market list can help you win big. The first few months of a distributor’s career are critical. Very few people will survive in the network marketing industry if their first few weeks are not spent wisely.

It is very important to create a “warm list”. This is your most powerful resource. A “warm list” is a group of individuals from your past and present whom you know well enough that if you picked up the phone to call them, they would recognize you once they heard your name.  The value of the warm list is that for the first few months, new distributors are able to talk to people they know and to people they would love to have a solid business relationship with.
