I was watching the news earlier today (CNN) and lo and behold, Denzel Washington’s face comes on the screen. I paused for a second to find out what he was talking about. He is the spokes person for Boys’ & Girls’ club and credits this group with showing him the way around when he was just a kid and trying to make his dreams come true. They taught him that anything is possible if you believe. This is the same thing I teach my Network Marketing students…that belief is everything.

Denzel is doing an amazing job and I strongly recommend you watch the news to find out the positive things the Boys’ & Girls’ club is doing for young people around the country. I know a lot of people advise people not to watch the news because of all the negative that’s put out by the media. I disagree with that. I think you should watch the news to find out more about the trends that are happening so you can capitalize on those trends to make some really good ca$h.

I want you to know this. If you would take your home business seriously, you may one day have an opportunity to effect a change in your neighborhood and around the country. Our young people need mentorship and who better to mentor them than you? If not you, then who? If not now, then when? The time is now my friends. Don’t wait for ‘someday’ because ‘someday’ is not on the calendar. I have seen Monday, Sunday, Tuesday etc but I do not see someday on my calendar. Stop procrastinating and decide that you are the one to make the change that you’ve always hoped for.

Learn as much as you can so you can use the knowledge to gain power. A lot of people say ‘Knowledge is Power’ right? Wrong. The right application of knowledge is what’s going to eventually become power. Just like Jim Rohn said “work harder on yourself than you do on your job”.

Let me know in the comments section what your thoughts are on the effects of the news on people’s mindset.
