Hang Haman – Destroy Your Fears
During my meditation time today, I read from the good book, from the book of Esther 7:1-10. It talks about a certain man, Haman, who was an enemy to Queen Esther and her people. He had a plan to destroy Esther and her people, including her parents and brethren. He even went as far as building a gallows to hang Queen Esther’s uncle, Mordecai, who groomed her from when she was a kid. Mordecai was a man who spoke faith into Esther’s life when she didn’t have enough faith to believe in herself.
Queen Esther took a step to expose the evils plans of Haman by discussing his(Haman’s) intentions with King Xerxes. Haman’s plans angered the king and he commanded that Haman be hanged. Guess what? He was hanged on the same gallows that he had built to hang Mordecai on.
I found this story so interesting because just like Mordecai, you may be going through challenges in your life, because there is someone out there who doesn’t wish you and your family to succeed. Today, that person is exposed. That person is represented by these letters ‘F-E-A-R.’ Resolve in your mind that you will destroy fear and you will “hang Haman.” Haman represents fear, poverty, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. Today, they will be destroyed in your life. You’ve got do a couple of things though. Read on.
If you are to destroy the power of fear in your life, it all starts with what’s going through your head. Resolve to only listen to things that empower you, and not things that disempower you. You’re powerful beyond measure. There’s nothing that can stand in your way to prevent you from reaching your destiny.
If you haven’t read the book of Esther, I strongly encourage you to read it. It will be of immense benefit to you. Anyway, after reading the above passage, I was inspired to write this short blog post to encourage someone out there.
