Les Brown is an awesome inspirational speaker. Early this morning, I listened to his audio CD called “Step into your greatness” and pulled out some cool stuff from it that will help any network marketer or business owner.

First and foremost, I would like you to know that there’s greatness within you. You were not brought to this planet by accident. Your life has a purpose.

From listening to that audio program by Les, I learned how to:

  • Raise the bar and commit to higher goals
  • Recognize negative people and detoxify them from my life
  • Challenge myself and put my fear of failure to rest
  • Stay hungry and make “no” my daily vitamin

Most people fail in life, not because they aim too high and miss, but because they aim too low and hit and many don’t aim at all. Raise the standards on yourself and don’t ask how you’re going to achieve your goals. You’ve got to commit yourself. Once you do that, the how and the when will come. Stretch & challenge yourself to discover your stuff!

Many of you reading this have been told about the things you can’t do instead of the things you can do. You’ve hung around people who pull you down instead of pull you up. We are often told more about our limitations than about our potential. What I want you to understand is that you have immense potential and your reality is not dependent upon someone else’s opinion of you. Your limitations are self-imposed. It’s all about what goes on in your mind.

Find out what resonates with you. Experiment with life because you have something special and have the ability to do more than you can ever begin to imagine. You’ve got to think of going beyond that which is commonly allowed.

Refuse to die an unlived life! Don’t let the fear of failure draw you in. Determine within yourself that you will live your dreams. Don’t be casual about them because if you’re casual about your dreams, you’ll end up a casualty. Get started immediately to put things in place to achieve your dreams. You may fail initially, but don’t quit. Keep going.

Make your move before you’re ready. There is a science to the method “ready, fire, aim”. If you do something wrong long enough you’ll figure out how to do it right. They’ve proven that you learn how to make basketball shots by your misses and not the ones you make.

“A set back is a set up for a comeback” – Willie Jolley

I believe in you. Go out there and make amazing things happen.
