Consistency in the things you do on a daily basis will dictate whether or not you will have success. The top income earners in this industry are consistent all the time. They have a set routine that they stick to no matter what is happening to them on any given. Whether they have a good day or a bad day, they still stay consistent and engage in the various activities that will take their business to the next level.

If you have a blog and you want it to be successful, you have got to post on a consistent basis. I’m not talking about post every couple of days or every week. I’m talking about posting every single day. That’s what your readers are looking for and that’s what Google is looking for as well. Google is looking for what would be the best for the readers. Your readers are looking for valuable and fresh content every single day.

If you know Ray Higdon then you know that he is the most consistent person when it comes to running his business. He has a routine and he sticks to it everyday day in and day out. That is why he has been so successful in creating an online business. And it is not only online that he is consistent in what he does. He is that way offline as well.

Consistent action will always win over inconsistent action. Hard work beats talent when talent won’t work hard! You must come up with a MAP (Massive Action Plan) and then STICK TO IT! Fortunes that last are built up over time – not overnight.

Champions aren’t made on game day! They are made through the consistency of their actions over time. You cannot just wake up one morning and become an overnight success. Most overnight success take about 10 years to happen. We just don’t see everything that’s happening behind the scenes for that to take place on the front-end. We always see the finished product like the person standing on stage, in the movies, winning the Olympic gold or whatever it happens to be without seeing the hours upon hours that are devoted to beating on their craft.

When you see a top income earner in the network marketing business, understand that there are years and years of preparation and dedication that went into producing that outcome. We look at athletes like Tiger Woods or Tom Brady and we think that they were lucky. The truth is that these guys put out more effort and practice longer and harder than most people. They understand that if you want to have extraordinary results, you’ve got to consistently put out extraordinary effort on the front end, even on days you don’t feel like it.

Understand that when you put in effort into your business, you may not see the results right away. Stick with it. There is both seed time and harvest time. I’m sure you know this…but when you plant a seed in the ground, it doesn’t grow up immediately the next day. There is a period of time where it is doing stuff under the surface that you can’t see. Eventually, it shoots out of the ground and grows up to become a huge tree. A great example of that is the Chinese bamboo. It takes almost 5 years for it to break ground and once it does it grows dozens of feet in a short period of time.

If you find yourself in a position where you’ve been trying things for a while and it’s not working out the way you want it to, get a mentor and don’t give up. Be consistent with the effort that you put into it and one day you may wake up and be that overnight success.
